"SAW"

Now I'm not one for watching horror flicks, in fact I didn't see this one, but someone told me about it from beginning to end.

It actually had a story behind it which most horror films don't to me. It's usually someone strange coming around and all of a sudden odd things start happening to them that didn't happen to all the other people who were there before. How do I know? I read reviews, I don't watch them.

But SAW seems to be different. It's a scary movie with an emphasis on the importance of life. Now isn't that weird?

I might just have to rent it, watch the special features so I can get in my mind that there was a director, cameramen, prop personnel with fake blood and other stuff all looking at the scene.

I have to see it as creative writing and not as a scary movie then maybe I'll get through it. :)

I'm not big on horror flicks either, but I got dragged to the theater to see this last Halloween. It isn't that bad in terms of scary - it's more gory than scary. I didn't have one nightmare, which is huge for me. I'm actually thinking of seeing the second one "Saw2" when it comes out on video.

Thanks Zee. That's encouraging. I'll get the rental an watch it in broad daylight of course. :)
